This is normal. Until the IRS starts processing your tax return on their own, you may not find record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated accordingly. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund?  tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.

Why does the IRS website/app says no information on my federal tax return when it says accepted by the IRS

Would it be considered normal if e-filing through TurboTax was completed on October 14, 2020, and TurboTax indicates the return was accepted, but the IRS.gov website says the return has not been processed as of March 29, 2021?  If abnormal, what is my next step as a taxpayer?  Thanks.

It is not abnormal; Turbo Tax informing you that your return was accepted by the IRS is an initial step which is not the same as your refund subsequently being approved. Now if you are specifically referring to a 2019 return filed last year in 2020, due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic the IRS has been experiencing major delays including the processing of tax returns from last year. Should you need to speak with them directly regarding your status - contact information can be found here @WRSJR.
