Why did the IRS send me a notice

No one other than the IRS can know anything specific about your return.  However, if you "just efiled," that sounds pretty odd.  When did you efile?

And how did you find out about this potential letter?   The IRS does not communicate using email or text for initial contact.   Or is there a message at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tracker tool that says the IRS is planning to send you a notice/letter?

If you have an online IRS account, you can look under the Notices/Letters tab to see if there is currently any evidence of such, but I'm not sure how soon it would be visible in there.
