Why are some of my tax returns missing?

Some years - 2013, 2014, 2017, 2020 -are missing in my “tax returns & documents.” I receive a message that says “Where can I find status of this return?”

TurboTax only retains the past seven years of online tax returns, the same retention period as the IRS.  So tax years prior to 2017 will not be available.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

If you are using the correct UserID for tax years 2017 and 2020 and there is not a link to download a PDF then contact TurboTax support for assistance.
