Greetings and thank you. I am doing 1050 free version. I have to add my dependent’s personal PIN number. It was rejected because it is not on there. There is no line to put it on in this program. What to do?

To enter, edit or delete a 6 digit IP PIN
Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Other Tax Situations
Scroll down to Other Return Info
On Identity Protection PIN, click the start button
Or enter ip pin in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to ip pin
Follow the steps below:
There will be separate boxes to enter an IP PIN for you and your spouse, as well as any dependents on your return.
Great answer. Thank you. I am using the free version and it not showing a place to put the dependents number. Do you perhaps have another suggestion ? Again, thank you.

By "personal PIN number", are you referring to a 6-digit IP PIN (Identity Protection PIN) provided to the IRS for victims of ID theft?
If so, I assume you know how to open your rejected return back up to correct it. If not, then you can open it up by clicking on "Add a State." (that doesn't really add one; but opens the return interview back up.
In order to enter a dependent's IP PIN, you would first need to have entered all the dependent's basic info in the My Info (Personal Info) section. You may have already done that already. If the dependent basic info has been entered, then you can go to the IP PIN section.
Here are 3 ways to get to the right place to enter the IP PIN. You only need to use one method. You can choose which method works for you the best.
Or here's a second way:
Or here's a third navigation method:
Your suggestion worked! Thank you.
