Where’s My Refund?

I filed my taxes on February 2 2022 and was accepted by the IRS shortly after on that day. I received my state tax a week later but it’s been way over a month and I have yet to receive my federal tax. I’ve tried calling the IRS number they gave me, called other numbers I asked people on Twitter for, and more but still no answers!!! The status says it’s still processing like why so long? It’s been over 21 days.  I want an answer and I’ve been a TurboTax user for many years… I will be definitely switching if I don’t get my money… I will get my money back I’m not giving up!

Thanks for the reply, but this doesn’t tell my anything new. I want to know why it’s taking so long for my refund. I’ve been with TurboTax for years and I’ve never had any problems til now.

The 21 days is an IRS target, in no way is it a guarantee.

Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.

Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
