If you are not filing a 2019 tax return and you are not required to file a tax return and you do not receive Social Security benefits, then use this TurboTax website to register for the stimulus - https://turbotax.intuit.com/stimulus-check/
Where do I go to put in my information for the stimulus check payments? Is there a portal set up yet

If you have filed a 2019 tax return and need to change or add your direct deposit information, see this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payments-what-you-need-to-know
The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?
In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.
If you receive Social Security benefits, see this US Treasury website - https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sm967
See this IRS website for stimulus payment information - https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payment-information-center
I did file a return and owe nearly $7k each of the last two years because of that imbecile limited property tax write offs to $10k when got a house probably worth no more than $500 I pay $15k in property taxes for next to no services and this is the thanks I get!!! So in response I don't get a refund and these morons can't even put a link up timely enough to consider us poor slob in middle class in New York to get a timely stimulus electronic deposit!
@Echauncey04 - you do get a refund, but if the IRS doesn't have your direct deposit banking information, it'll be be by a good old fashion check in the US postal mail the issue isn't IF you get a rebate, it's HOW you get the rebate.
I have already filed and received my tax return this year I had it mailed to me by mail but I would like to up date my info and put my bank direct deposit info in here please tell me how
Where is the portal where I can add my direct deposit information
The IRS has not yet put the portal online. It is expected soon.
portal will be up end of April at the treasury at the very earliest. If you paid in ...ya have to wait
I live abroad and filed my 2019 tax last week. Because I was not getting a refund, I was not prompted to enter my bank details.
My completed tax papers contained X's in the boxes where my bank details should have been.
I just heard about the Turbotax expedited stimulus info sharing with irs.gov so I logged onto Turbotax to try to get my bank details in and I was immediately prompted with text saying Turbotax has shared my info with IRS and I will receive and email if my info was accepted.
What info have they shared?
They still do not have my direct deposit info so how can I fix that?
did you owe money to the IRS and permitted the IRS to direct debit your bank account? if yes, they have your banking information for the direct deposit of the stimulus money
No, i didnt owe anything to federal or state. I would have added my direct deposit info had it asked for it, but it did not ask.
I ultimately had to print and file paper method since I am in EU. I did however write my account and routing into the boxes with X's on my paper return.
Any idea if that will be accepted as valid ?
What ??? Did you really mail in a return a week ago ?
If so you were NOT allowed to use the "Turbotax expedited stimulus" option ... and the program told you 3 times to NOT use it.
If you just used the registration program then you messed up big time. The return you mailed in will be rejected and you will have to AMEND the filed return with $1 bank interest on it and mail in the amended return.
Because I live abroad, Ihave no choice but to file paper method. I also cannot access the IRS.gov site account to check if any of my taxes were ever processed.
I actually did not sign up for the expedited stimulus option. I was just prompted on screen that my info was shared with IRS.. when I only just logged on to Turbotax.. so I didnt see any of those screen shots you have shared. Thanks for the info..

SO you mailed in a zero income return ... in normal times it would be ignore and shredded ... and since you just efiled a zero income return no one knows what the IRS will do with it not even the IRS ... all you can do is wait and see. At least you do not have to amend anything.
