What kind of debit are you referring to?   There's not much information provided in your question, so I'm having to guess a bit. The only kind of debit TurboTax performs is for product fees if a user chose to pay them out of a Federal refund, and if the Federal refund has been delayed at the IRS or reduced.

This is mainly a user community forum, but we can tell you how to phone TurboTax Support today (Tuesday), which is the deadline to avoid any bank debit for product fees scheduled this week.

Did you choose to pay TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund?   If so, has your Federal refund been delayed an unusual length of time (or was your refund reduced by the IRS), and did you get a notice that your bank account will be debited for fees this week?  If so, you can contact TurboTax Support today (Tuesday), which is the deadline to avoid this week's debit, and ask for a deferment.

Hours are 5AM-9 PM Pacific (8AM-12 Midnight Eastern), 7 days/week

The first paragraph in the FAQ linked below says:

"If you’re in need of assistance, call us by the Tuesday prior to your debit date at 1-888-808-1723 to speak with a trained specialist and mention “auto-debit”, or visit TurboTax Support."

Only the state tax agency will know what all it is doing with your state return.  Some states are fairly quick with refunds, while other states can take a long time processing returns--even several weeks--as they crack down on detecting fraudulent returns.  And state tax agencies have likely been affected by the Coronavirus situation, increasing delays.  You may be able to get an idea about how long it takes in your state from the FAQs at your state's tax agency website as I will mention below.

Of course, you first need to be sure the state return was successfully filed.  Here's how:

If you efiled, be sure your efiled state return was accepted.  If you used Online TurboTax, you can check by looking at the Tax Home in your Online account.

Or did you choose to file the state return by mail instead?  TurboTax does not mail it for you.  If you chose that method, you have to print, sign, date, and mail it to the state tax agency.

The FAQ below tells how to check on a state refund and has a link for your state.

TIP:   While you're at your state's tax website, also look for a statement or FAQ that may say about how long it takes to get a refund in your state and how to long to wait before phoning the state tax agency.  Many states have such information on their websites.
