Did you prepare your 2020 federal return using TurboTax? If so, you can use the CD/download software on a full PC or Mac to prepare the 2020 state return, which will have to be filed by mail. And you have missed the deadline to receive a refund for a 2020 return unless you had an extension for the 2020 return. If you owe tax due, you will be subject to late filing penalties and interest for which the state will bill you.
You will be able to access the 2020 federal return you preparedby using the exact same account and user ID that you used when you prepared it. But you can no longer use online software for any further changes.
Online tax preparation and e-filing for 2020 returns is now permanently closed.
Now it is too late to use online software or to e-file. If you have any changes/corrections at all to make to your 2022 return, you now have to complete it using desktop software, which you must download to a full PC or Mac (not to a mobile device).Then you need to print, sign and mail it.

Or---try getting the 2020 state forms from your state's tax website and prepare them. You will need information from the 2020 federal return you prepared.
