Where are my returns from before 2014?

I can only see this year and 7 years prior.  where are the older returns?

Where are my returns from before 2014?

TurboTax keeps 7 years of prior returns, older returns would be deleted.  The IRS recommends taxpayers keep their returns and any supporting documentation for three years after the date of filing; after that, the statute of limitations for an IRS audit expires.

Generally, the IRS can include returns filed within the last three years in an audit. If we identify a substantial error, we may add additional years. We usually don't go back more than the last six years. The IRS tries to audit tax returns as soon as possible after they are filed.

Ok!  Someone told me if there's a mistake on a return they can go back indefinitely.  That must not be true.
