You can track your amended return using the IRS tool HERE. It will take up to 3 weeks after you've mailed your return for it to show in the system.

what form do I use to mail my return? I amended it online weeks ago. It is for the 2016 tax year. I received an additional W-2 form after I did my first one that got accepted and refunded already

Did you complete the amendment online and print and mail it to the IRS? When you're done filling out the amendment online, there will be instructions to print and mail your amended return because an amended return can't be e-filed.
