When I typed in my bank name for the refund deposit, it came back with an error message saying I needed to a U.S. bank? My bank is USAA Federal, any suggestions?

Try entering just "USAA" for the bank name. If that doesn't work leave the bank name blank. It is just for your reference and not needed as long as you enter the bank routing number and your account number.
