Yes, you need to file an amended return.

If you have already filed your return, but did not include interest income reported on Form 1099-INT, then you will need to amend your return in order to include that interest income.

However, if the interest income was minimal, then amending your return to include it may not change your overall taxes.  You would still be filing a complete and accurate return by including the interest as part of your income even though the amended return may show only a small change or no change at all.

The forms required to amend your return will be available through TurboTax toward the end of February or early March.
