When does NY start processing returns? I see nowhere on the state taxation website mentioning it.

Just for my own info, NY does not call out when it will start processing returns, and all my searches just bring up deadlines, Anyone got the scoop? My fed has already been accepted and NY suits pending still.

NYS put out a press release on Feb 2 that filing season would open Feb 12.

It can take the state several days to work their way through a backlog of returns to start processing, so pelase be patient.

Thanks for the response! I hadn’t seen the press release, it doesn’t say when on the site elsewhere (like the IRS does) .
