When asked what form i filed last year i wasn't given enough options. Last year i filed a 8879 this year i am filing self employed

When asked what form i filed last year i wasn't given enough options. Last year i filed a 8879 this year i am filing self employed

Right after the Form 8879 you should have a Form 1040 or 1040A, 1040EZ, whichever one was used.  The Form 8879 is an, "IRS E-file Signature Authorization."  The actual return should be right after it. 

The Form 8879 in Part 1 line 1 does have your Adjusted Gross Income from the return filed on it.
