What's taking my refund so long? I have code 1541 on IRS site.

The **bleep**ed up thing is I filed before my brother and he has 2 kids with a different girl. The girl he is with now has one of her own and he let her claim both of his to get the tax money so she claimed his 2 and hers and got 8k back and didn’t have no problems and she has never claimed his kids before and they all have different last names. Now tell me how in the duck that didn’t get flagged and he got his **bleep** 4 weeks ago. Pisses me off 😡😡😡

@Monty I filed before my sister in law. I’m married to my husband all kids same man, same job for 10 years....she has 3 kids 2 diff dads, job for only 1 year and she got her refund on the 27th. I am so frustrated too.

Yea I don’t think it’s right how they r treating us. I was married for 10yrs. 2 kids w same woman. Now with different woman for 6yrs and got a little one with my fiancée. All 3 of my kids have same name and my stuff got put on hold like everyone else’s. Just complete crap. Only difference for me is I claimed my son cause my ex don’t work anymore and she said I can claim him from now on with my daughter.

Is hilarious. Maybe they want to come check my underwear as well. Like at this point I'm so mad. At this point everyone I know has gotten their money and they filed after me with kids too and they got the delayed message and everything and we still here like all forgotten

Okay, just got the same letter everyone else did. They need an additional 60 days "to send me a complete response on what action we are taking on your account."

im over it, they can keep it at this point and i just wont file anymore. Its not worth the stress and aggravation and they obviously couldnt care less. F*** them

Wow really another person got a 60 day letter on top of the 45 days. So ur looking at almost June before getting it

Who all has gotten a 60 day letter only a few days after they got their 45 day letter ? It makes no sense for them to send a 60 day one right after ur 45 day lettter. Don’t make sense to me

4464c letter I got says to allow 60 days before calling 😭
