You can see the exact federal refund amount on line 19 of your federal 1040 tax return. The state refund would be somewhere near the bottom of the state return.

@Casino You posted a response three times just showing the amount 5845.05.  For what purpose?  The original poster needed to know how to find the exact refund amount in order to use the URS "Where's My Refund" tracking tool.  Posting your own refund here in the user forum serves no purpose.

If you are trying to track your own tax refund:

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20a of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
