TurboTax will not know anything about your mailed return, and will continue to show “Ready to Mail” on your account. TurboTax does not get updates on mailed returns. Wait about 4 weeks from when you mail a return and then you can check the status on the IRS site.

Where's My Refund 4 weeks after mailing your return. It takes that amount of time for it to show up in their system. They do not provide an update to TurboTax for mailed returns as they would with e-filed returns.
You will want to call them if it’s been more than 6 weeks since you mailed and at that time, you can reach them at the IRS tax refund hotline at 800-829-4477, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Earned Income/Additional Child Tax credit on your return, the government held those returns until mid-February. And refunds from those returns will start releasing in
