What forms and schedules must be entered using the Q&A procedure and what forms and schedules may entered by Forms?

What forms and schedules must be entered using the Q&A procedure and what forms and schedules may entered by Forms?  It has been stated that TT will not process data that has been entered manually into TT (ie Form 4797).

I have use downloads and Forms exclusively and have perceived any errors or omissions   many thanks   murran

Since posting the above I believe that the contributor suggested that you might be more apt to enter incorrect data using Forms as opposed to the Q&A method of entry.  With proper data entry TT will process the return properly.

The program will process data manually entered via 'Forms' mode.  However, it won't process data that has been overwritten.  So, if TurboTax enters information from what you answer during the Q&A, and then you go into 'Forms Mode' and change that entry, the return may not e-file and any accuracy warranties are voided.

If you're adventurous, you can even prepare your return in Forms Mode, but we don't recommend it. You may miss obscure credits and deductions you qualify for, and you may forget to report things that will come back and haunt you later.
