What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

I will never use TurboTax again you need a health care form of some sort your software had nothing about it and IRS taking way more then 21 days I e-file I was told today my refund taking 3 months cause I had a new last name which I updated with SSA and my return hasn't even been looked at looks like your company wouldn't take your money until they release my refund which is bs people that just filed are getting their refund I efiled March 23 nothing

One called me this is crap your system is out dated then your company lying saying health insurance proof isn't needed I'm getting a lawyer and sueing because I know a ton of people who filed with you same issue

No I tried several numbers and they all said IRS office is closed due to the COVID

My taxes were accepted Feb 2.  They gave me a date of April 23 for some reason . Still no letter or direct deposit.

I am in the exact same boat. Accepted 3/19 and currently "still processing"

I tried calling the IRS but there are no representatives available (prob due to Covid-19).

My taxes was excepted on March 5,2020.I also got a letter from the IRS telling me my tax are being reviewed for at least 60 days.but it's been over days and i still don't have no answer about my refund.how much longer do i have to wait.

I lost my hope of getting anything back from IRS soon. For next year, I am thinking about tweaking W4 so that I will not be expecting anything back from IRS again.

Irs won't even give me a straight answer mines being held up for no reason cause it's has to confirm my last name change with SSA just bs

Still nothing. I tried calling them and no one is there. I haven’t received a letter either sooo I guess we all in same boat :(

Me too. Accepted on March 30. Bars disappeared a week after or so. No code, no letter. I paid TurboTax $350 extra to exactly avoid this kind of long wait and no answers. If they they don’t provide any service after tax return is sent, I might as well use any other  free software next time. This is my last time I am filing with them.

I filed on February 1st was accepted on February 1st and have not received anything not a letter not check not nothing as far as when I should get my taxes and I can't get any information except for what I find online I don't understand why it's taking so long

"Your refund is still being processed..." Last year I lost $800 because of Turbo taxes lack of correct forms.  I just figured it out reading these. I'm afraid that is what is holding my return up. If I have to refile I will probably never get a return. I agree, with the person who suggested change my W2 so I don't get a return.

IRS' toll free number does not have any live persons due to outbreak.
