I went on February 28,2018 to verify my identity. Why would it take 6-9 weeks to receive my refund?

I have talked to a few people who had this happen to them last year. They said it took a total of 69 days to receive their return from the date they filed. I’m almost to that now

I would keep calling irs till so.eone looks into your file dont tell them you had to verify or anything just say its over 21 days you wanna know whats going on if they give you a gemeric answer ask to be transferred to a mamager if manager does the same ask for a supervisor. Just keep calling till you get someone who looks further then the first thing that pops up

I will be doing this at least twice a day starting monday every day idc how they feel about it if i dont have an update or funds till i do i will make their lives miserable

Tried callimg tax transcript put in social and it says they are experiencing technical difficulties so they have began updating again

Our Refund Trace feature is not available during the following times (Eastern Time):

Sunday 12:00 am (Midnight) to 7:00 pm
Monday 12:00 am (Midnight) to 6:00 am
Tuesday 3:30 am to 6:00 am
Wednesday 3:30 am to 6:00 am
Thursday 3:30 am to 6:00 am
Friday 3:30 am to 6:00 am
Saturday 3:30 am to 6:00 am
and 9:00 pm to 12:00 am (Midnight)

Also, occasionally our system may be unavailable on Sundays between 1:00 am and 7:00 am Eastern Time
