We filed a federal tax return but have not received a refund. we mailed it in and cannot find any information about it?

we tracked the mail and it says it got to the office, we are just unable to find information about it anywhere.

Mail returns will take a long time to process. After 4 weeks you can check IRS Where’s My Refund

It has been over 4 weeks and I see nothing on the IRS website

If you mailed the return into the correct office then it can take months to process and until the envelope is opened and the return is entered into the system  you will not see it on the WMR? tool and there is nothing you can do but wait for the processing to begin.
