The IRS website says my refund has been sent since yesterday but my prepaid card app still has a zero balance. Where is my refund?

Wait at least 5 days after IRS states they issued the refund. 

Prepaid Visa Card: 

  • Make sure that you activated your card either online or over phone by following the instructions on the card's sticker.
  • If you have any questions or need assistance with your Turbo Prepaid Visa Card, please visit TurboPrepaidCard.com or call toll-free at (888) 285-4169.

NOTE: If you selected Refund Processing to pay for TurboTax fees out of your federal refund (instead of using a credit card), see below:

  • The IRS will first send the refund to a third party bank (SBTPG) who will then send TurboTax a payment ,and then send the refund to your card. 
  • You may contact SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com if you need more information.
