I got a letter from IRS to mail/fax a 1095a and a 8962 form. How will I know they have received it? How long does it generally take to get confirmation?

I was able to view my transcripts online, it still doesn’t say refund issued

Faxed 2/17still says processing on my wmr

Two weeks after I mailed...no changes. However, it does take a week for the IRS to receive mail so I may have an update this coming week. Fingers crossed!

@rzrlife3570 same here. I faxed on 2/19 so I'm hoping that means they have pulled it and start processing it. Also did yours say something like tax period ending December 31 2017 where refund amount was?? Just curious?? Has anyone else??

3/3: Your tax refund is scheduled to be sent to your bank by March 7, 2018.  If your refund is not credited to your account by  March 12, 2018 , check with your bank to see if it has been received.

Transcripts available 3/2 with “refund issued” date of 3/7. The refund amount is unchanged, not reflecting adjustment from Form 8962. No bars yet on WMR.

Tax topic 152 was back 3/1. Refund amount disappeared (my 8962 increased amount due to me).

Faxed in 1095A/8962 forms  2/26.

@johnson2mark OMG thanks for such great details. This really really gives me hope that maybe by Monday I will be receiving a DDD. So I'm wondering if my amount has changed or if it is going to remain the same?

Faxed documents on 2/19
Called 2/26 advised to wait 6-8 weeks
Called 2/27 advised to call back in a week
On 2/28 WMR changed to show tax topic 152
Called 3/2 and advised by best human ever that fax was received and we have been fully processed and approved. DD date of 3/7. She confirmed our refund went down slightly, and told me new amount.
3/2 WMR still showed Tax Topic 152 with no amount.
3/3 WMR changed - wouldn’t let me log in with previous refund amount. Retried it with the new refund amount and...SUCCESS!!! Bars are back, refund approved, amount is showing, and the message says: Your tax refund is scheduled to be sent to your bank by March 7, 2018.
If your refund is not credited to your account by March 12, 2018, check with your bank to see if it has been received.
