So did anyone that's under review received a letter or their refund yet? I'm curious cause I'm under review and been since 2/14/18 I call everyday and get the same info.

I did my taxes 2/10 and they were accepted 2/10. I called the IRS 2/22 and was told my refund was put on hold for review and i had to wait 45 days. I then called after the 45 days and was told it was put on final review on 3/15 and had to wait another 45 days. I also received a letter from the IRS on 3/14 or 3/15 saying they have 60 days to complete the review. My 60 days was up yesterday so i called today and the lady said she had to put a referral in for them to release my refund and it "should" take 2-3 weeks from her experience but can take with-in 60 days :-(. She told me to keep checking "Where's my refund" it will be updated once they process the referral. Wish me Luck!! Thats where im at now.

I called that # and got a nasty lady! She said this, and I could NOT believe my ears,  " This is GOVERNMENT MONEY , It's NOT YOUR MONEY" ... say what! The person I talked to a week ago, said Oh they haven't done anything with your account yet, it will be another 60 days.. WHAT! This is insane, NOTHING is different on my taxes then the year before or the year before that. This seems to be some BS story , maybe the government is broke ... Wouldn't doubt it. Never have I heard of this happening EVER!

Hey everyone! I have been waiting FOREVER for my refund. After waiting 45 days, then 60 days, then being told it could take an additional 60 days....what a freaking roller coaster. This morning I checked WMR and my bar appeared and it said my refund should be in my account by May 21st!!!! There is a light at the end if the tunnel. I hope everyone else waiting gets good news soon!!

May 1st...so it took about three weeks. My bar appeared yesterday and m money was in my acct today.

Well I filed on 3/9, accepted 3/10, lost bars 3/19 got a letter saying I was under review for 90 days. When I called in April, I was told I have to just wait until after May 22nd and if nothing changes to call. Well I called 5/23 and was told as of 5/20 I'm under another 60 day review and have to wait. I hung up and called right back to get a different rep who told me the same info but put me on hold to review the account and came back to say she don't see why but she will email the department to either release my funds or request for adtl. Info. She told me to keep checking WMR but it could take up to 60 days. Please tell me there is hope before 60 more days, I've already been waiting over 100 days.

Tdoss1225...I had the exact same situation and I finally received my refund last Friday. It took about three weeks from the time they told me to wait another 60 days. I bet you will have your refund in the next two to three weeks.

I too have been going through the same issue . I filed my taxes 1/29 they got accepted on 1/29 . recieve a letter 2/15 saying they needed more info so i called and gave them more info. than recieved another letter on 3/20 saying they would be putting me in review and than i get another letter on 4/19 saying that my review would be up by 5/3 . So i called on the 5/11 and they said its not actually up till 5/18 so i called back 5/21 and the lady said she didnt see why they were holding it they didnt need anymore information and that she would send a email to the referral department but that can take another 60 days , so im going to call back tomarrow 5/30 and check on it and see about getting a  tax advocate that can possibly speed it up

Filed 02/15 went under review 03/05 called TA same day told me I had to fax off original w2 by 03/23 fax w2 on 03/09 called irs on  04/01 called TA still need more info to fax so I fa rest of my info by 04/25 TA got fax on 04/28 fax document to irs same day took 3 weeks to adjust it cause I had to do an amend return after 3 weeks with no update TA didn't see an update on 05/22 I called irs stated I was under a hardship and that i filed mid Feb and TA been trying to help me get my refund irs agent was so nice she left a note for the irs to go ahead and issue my refund due to long waite and hardship 3 days later got a DD for 05/31 direct deposit also TA can help if irs has not issue your refund on time and if they not telling u why then call TA thats part of a hardship waiting on a refund past your DD or review date is up if it's past those dates call TA

Filed on 2/5/18 accepted the same day. Received my first and ONLY letter from the IRS on 3/25/18 stated I didn't need to do anything and that I should receive my refund or another letter by 5/10. Didn't receive either one so I called IRS on 5/10 and they said it was still under review and it would take an additional 60 days from the date of my last letter so that meant 5/25/18. I have called IRS several times and I have gotten several different answer each time. So on 5/25/18 I didn't receive my refund or a letter so I called the IRS again. They stated they opened a claim or whatever it was called for me since it had been 90+ days since I filed my refund. They stated it will take up to another 60 days from 5/25/18 SO THAT IS JULY 25 2018!!!! They are saying nothing can be done on my end... but they have until JULY 25 18... THAT IS 170 DAYS SINCE MY TAXES WERE FILED AND ACCEPTED!!! This is CRAZY!!! Does anyone have advice for me?

Contact your Congressional representative. And change you withholding that you do not have to go through this again next year.
