Unemployment refund sent to closed account

My unemployment refund is scheduled to be sent on Wednesday to a closed account. Has anyone had this happen recently and if so how long did it take to get your check? Side note: I updated my account info on the CTC portal but I don't know if that will affect the unemployment refund

If the deposit is rejected by the bank then the IRS converts the payment to a check mailed to the address on the return which can take 3 weeks or longer.   Updating the bank info in the advance CTC payment area will most likely NOT be used to try another DD but  it could be possible but since this has never happened  before there is no history to refer to.
