Unable to amend return for 2024

I'm trying to amend my 2024 return and whenever I click "Transmit Returns Now" a box pops up that reads, "Tax year 2024 transmissions are not available...TurboTax is not ready to process Tax Year 2024 for this return." I have tried numerous times, I've updated the software and I still keep getting this message. Why can't I e-file my amended return?

Are you also trying to e-file an amended state tax return.  In the File section make sure that you indicate that you do not want to e-file the state tax return at this time.

I’m actually trying to do both because I needed to correct issues on the federal and state. I’m filing for Georgia and as far as I’m aware, you can e-file returns in Georgia.

Saw a post from another user.  They were able to e-file the Federal return after they selected to not e-file the state return at this time.

So, that did work for filing my federal amended return. However, it still won’t let me file the state amended return. No reason why and it takes me though the motions like it’s working right up to the transmit button screen. Then the error appears again once I try to transmit just for the state.

It may be that the state of Georgia is not accepting 2024 state amended return for e-filing at this time.  You may just want to print and mail the Georgia amended tax return.
