TURBO TAX STOLE ALMOST $600 from my return!!!

My refund was around 1500 and I only received $180. I was told to contact the IRS, which I have and they have told me that there were not any offsets on my account. I originally used the number given in the track your refund link on the IRS website but I have now been through several other phone numbers for the IRS and no one has been able to explain to me what happened to my refund.

First, have you checked the IRS' Where's My Refund website?  It may have information about a correction or an offset.  For more details on why your refund could be less than expected, please see this Help Article.  

If you have verified it is not any of the above scenarios and you utilized the Pay with My Refund method, please reach out to our third-party processor, SBTPG.  You can do this at their Help page.  You can call using the numbers listed, or you can scroll down on the page and click Submit A Request.  On this public forum, we do not have detailed information about refund processing.

I has to go through another tax service and get my entire process redone and I didn’t receive my refund until December. I hope that’s not the case for you but that was the only way I found for me to get my money back.
