Trying to e-file all, have completed forms, can not find last years tax return so do not have number requested, have paid for all already by friends credit card.

Without last year's tax return, you will not have your AGI which is required by the IRS to file this year (new security law).  Your only other option to get this is to request a transcript of your TaxYear 2015 return from the IRS.  You want the option on the left (Online) for faster service from them.
