Trying to amend my federal and state return

i need to amend my return.

i bought 2019 basic and Bought IL state

Need to amend

Downloaded amend version (premier) I think. (what turbotax told me)

Uninstalled current turbo tax

Installed new version to amend taxes

Open new version. See my taxes. Click on amend

Get error 190 – federal tax return now on computer. Lets get Illinois

Click on download state

Next is odd. IL isn’t in list. But on right is here state you’ve downloaded. Check box to add to return

I check Illinois box and click download now.

Get popup here's how it will work. we'll download install and restart.

Installer starts, says software up to date.

And nothing else happens. So I am stuck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
