After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

i file my tax refund feb.4,2020 

i recieved my state refund after 2 weeks but my federal refund until now is nothing but i recieved a letter from irs saying need my identity information before proccess my refund what happend to my filed something wrong when i filed can you explain and help me
