Transferring Data from Prior Year Return (2024)

I have started up desktop TT for 2025. At the "JumpStart," my .tax2024 shows in the list, however when I click Continue all get is a beep. (Working on a new Mac.)

1. File is not corrupted. I reinstalled TT 2024. The file had been encrypted, but was able to find password and open it in the 2024 TurboTax.

2. Is the jumpstart problem from the file being encrypted? If so, how do I un-encrypt? (This always worked before, but this is the first time I encrypted the file.)

3. Does this has to do with the new machine being Apple silicon and needing Rosetta to run TurboTax this year?

Got plenty of time of course, but what do I do?
