Who said you could get a refund advance through TurboTax before the tax return was accepted by the IRS?
That is Not correct.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for a refund advance - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/refund-advance/L52Mg0G5u_US_e...
The Advance Refund loan won't be available until after January 1 and just when you are ready to file. And only if they offered it to you. You can't self select it. Then you don't get it until AFTER your efile is Accepted by the IRS.

It says......after IRS acceptance.
And see this FAQ

it was an option that appeared on my screen when I was choosing how to receive my refund, after i selected the advanced refund with credit karma, it appeared and it stated , would you like to receive your immediately in a min without having to wait for IRS acceptance, and then I clicked on the approval selection, then it said something about would be available in February I believe, kinda odd, so that’s why I was asking, obviously it was made for someone to have that option, but then never saw again being advertised
And I was also already approved for the rapid refund up to $1000
@chuckd55555 On the TurboTax 2023 online editions, in the File section of the program on Step 2, Refund Advance is an option. However it states - Get up to $4,000 in as little as 30 seconds after IRS acceptance*
And - *IRS accepts returns starting late-Jan. Acceptance times vary. Most receive funds within 4 minutes of acceptance.
What’s really a big question to me here is how can you get the advanced refund if it has to be accepted by the irs while in the mean time you can’t get the advanced refund without the irs accepting the refund first. Says you can’t get the advanced refund if you’ve already filed with the irs… so how can I get something verified by the irs if when I file with the irs I’m not eligible?
