Hi, I am making amendment in Turbotax desktop version (I received a w2-C after e-filing my original tax return). In the amendment, I eidted my original W-2 based on my W-2C. I thought there supposed to be an updated W2 or W2C attached in my amendment pdf previw but could not find it. Is that normal for amendment e-file? This is the first time to submit amendment. Please help. Thanks!

The IRS will accept your changes based on your entries. Later, they will match your return with the corrected W-2C form they will receive from your employer to make sure it was reported properly on your amended return.
The other schedules of your return may appear along with your amended form 1040-X, that is normal.
Yes, this is normal. As long as you have made the appropriate changes to your W-2 for the amendment. For 2021, if you are using e-file for your amendment the IRS will see the changes and they will see your explanation of the changes. If they later decide they want to see the W-2 copies (W-2 and W-2C) they will request it at that time. Keep both with your tax return records.
If for some reason you plan to mail your amendment, then you should provide include a copy of each with the amended return.
You can file your amended return without concern.
Thanks, Diane. Do you mean IRS will see my updated W2 from their side even though my E-file amendment submission doesn't include W2 nor W2-C?
BTW, in my amendment preview (I only updated W2 for this amendment), besides 1040X, there are not only an UPDATED 1040 form, but also other UNCHANGED forms such as schedule B, schedule D, form 8949, form 8959 etc, which have been already submitted with my original tax return before. Is that normal as well?
Thanks!
