The screen said that you filed my returns even though I requested to mail them???

If you requested to file your tax returns by mail they have not been e-filed. Upon sign out a message will populate congratulating you on filing your taxes. You will see this message only because you have selected the File by mail option, therefore you would not need TurboTax for anything further. In your case, your taxes are not filed until you actually mail the tax return.
