The recently signed Covid Relief Bill waves $10,200 in unemployment from taxes. If we have already filed federal and state taxes, when can we amend them?

Will we be notified when turbotax is ready to deal with these changes to our federal and state filings?

TT has to wait until the IRS issues procedures for this, as well as for all the other provisions in the new tax law.

Yes, I understand that.  I just want to know that we will be told when we are able to amend 2020, so we don’t have to keep checking in.  I’m sure you will notify everyone effected by the change, that would only make sense.
