The mailed checks never arrived the state isnt taking calls after the phone greeting

I think the mailed date of 2/27 is bogus. Never received a check. When you call to speak with someone once the message is over they say due to call volume they can't take your call. Guess they should have done the auto deposit like I requested

You have posted in several other threads about this---so by reading some of your other posts we know you are referring to a CO refund.   TurboTax has no control here and cannot help.  The state does not share any information with TT after you file your tax return.  TurboTax cannot find out anything with the state for you.    Only the state can tell you what is happening with your state refund.   If the state site says a check was mailed, then keep watching your mailbox and open all mail even if it looks like junk mail.   Even if you requested direct deposit, the state has the right to mail a check instead.  Hope your refund arrives soon.
