The Georgia on line tax center states that they have no record of my return for 2016. Why is that?

Ok, I checked via the link sent to me and it shows the e-file tax return being accepted. So why doesn't the Georgia tax center website have any information

It's Feb 2nd and I still don't see my state return as being accepted on the Georgia revenue website. This is the message I get after putting in the CORRECT information:
1. Where's My Refund?
2. Refund Status
Refund Status
The information you have entered does not match our records, however you may have mailed your return. Please verify the social security number, refund amount and tax year entered and retry.
I entered the info. Correctly and have not filed by mail! So what's up?

There could be a backlog for the Georgia website in accepting state tax returns.  Wait for a few more days and the website should update.
FYI - I have e-filed GA returns using TurboTax for at least the last 7 years, maybe longer, and they have all processed correctly.

As stated on the Georgia Department of Revenue website for tax refunds https://gtc.dor.ga.gov/_/#1

The Department of Revenue is protecting Georgia taxpayers from tax fraud. We are implementing the following changes for 2017:

• Income tax return processing will begin February 1, 2017.
• Please allow 90 business days to process a return and issue a refund.
• All first-time Georgia income tax filers, or taxpayers who have not filed in Georgia for at least five years, will receive a paper check.
