I also got a 4464c letter from the irs my return was a simple one filed single and now their checking me out ive never had a problem before in my life with my taxes why now

Hey all, wanted to let yall know that yesterday I happened to check the where's my refund website and suddenly it's updated and says refund approved and has a deposit date of may 9th. I have no idea if I will actually get it then but I am extremely excited to actually see something different. It's been almost 5 months since I filed. Not one document has ever been requested from me. No one at irs has ever had info as to why mine was in verification other than it was the luck of the draw. I will let yall know if it deposits may 9th.

@adam.mandi thats great to hear.. unfortunately i still have not heard one thing. Hopefully soon. My 60 business days is over on the 18th hopefully i hear something by then.

Good news finally my status changed on the IRS WEBSITE WMR. Says mines will be DD this week.

YOU can check on Santa Barbara Bank Tax products website and check if they received it from the IRS.

@aalonzo2001 That is only for TT customers who asked to have their fees deducted from their Federal refund, not all TT customers.

My 60 days was up on April 23rd and then the referral message was sent up to the integrity and verification department and that is when they advised it would be another 60 days. On Saturday May 5th the where's my refund website was updated with a direct deposit date of Wednesday May 9th. Well it said it had been approved and should be received by May 9th. Today is May 8th and it has not been deposited as of yet. But I am hopeful that it will be in my account tomorrow. I will get back on here and let everyone know if it does. I have yet to ever receive any letter from the IRS explaining why my got chosen no additional information was ever needed and no resolution letter either so apparently mine was truly the luck of the draw. Unfortunately. Hope everybody gets there soon

That's great news! My 60 days were up as of yesterday, the rep told me that it had a hold and she would send up the referral so the hold should be removed in a few days so keep checking the WMR. I never got another letter besides the 4464C letter so hopefully mine will be showing a change in the next week or two also. Thanks for responding. Good Luck with tomorrow!
