Technically, you would amend your return but the amount involved is so small you might want to just wait to get a letter from the IRS requesting the small additional tax.

Technically, you would amend your return but the amount involved is so small you might want to just wait to get a letter from the IRS requesting the small additional tax.

Why would the amount I received for my tax return not match the amount I filed for? Tax return was supposed to be $10,947 then I only received $7,021 for my return.
