Taxes still pending

My tax return has been pending for two weeks now, well past the 24-48 hour mark. I also filed at the beginning of February, well after the IRS opened. What is going on? I'm in desperate need of the money to pay bills since I lost my job at the beginning of January. Also, TurboTax said it was approved almost two weeks ago, but the IRS says it's still pending.

That is unusually long time for your taxes to remain in Pending status.  I suggest contacting the IRS directly concerning the issue.  Go here for tips on reaching a live IRS agent when you call.
