Taxes still not processed

I was accepted on 2/11 and all my bars disappeared on 3/2..My 21 days was Tuesaday 3/5 so I called this morning 3/6 and was told that my refund is being reviewed and that the review doesn't start until 3/18   and 45 days from that date  it will be refunded could be sooner but not before 3/18.. said a letter may come in the mail to tell me about the review and if they need anything else

my Suggestion to anyone going through this is to call an advocate. A day after I talked to her I was approved.

They told me the same thing. But I needed my money so I had them expedite it. They work for ya tbh. No reason you should have to wait that long unless you mad a mistake. I wish I’d known that last yr

Yea after she told me there’d be a 45 day wait I asked was there anyway I can get it expedited because I’m behind in bills and facing eviction. She took all my information down like what bills I’m behind in and when my eviction notice came and she forwarded to the advocate whom called me 3 business days later. She told me to send in specific info and the next day I was approved. I didn’t even have to send anything in.

This is ridiculous! I still haven’t gotten my letter, and I called again today to see what is the hold up, I even called the offset number and I have none. I waited on the phone for over an hour and spoke to a lady who looked into my account and said I’m advised to call back after the 3/11 if I do not get the damn letter. She asked me for all my personal info just to keep me on hold for what seemed like another 20 min just to tell me to wait for the letter. I said do you know what the letter is about? She said no, I’m like WOW! So looks like I’m just waiting and waiting and waiting.

Me too she said I didn't put a w2 in and this year the companies send you info so if you miss a w2 you have to amend but you need the letter first

Wow!! I called back to ask if I could expedite this process and was told no.She said there was nothing to expedite at this point and said I had to wait until they reviewed my return ..I have never been under review .Same job and my children as my dependents for the last 5 years

It’s just crazy. I’ve never had to deal with this before. So I guess we just wait now I’ll keep u guys updated

Ok today I finally got the letter in, I called to verify, answered a few questions and it’s been verified. Now fingers crossed it doesn’t take 9 weeks!!! So I’m praying everything is good. Anyone else get their letter yet or any changes?

@falopez426 no .she said at the time no letter was sent .And if they needed additional information they would send a letter.
