Tax topic 201

I filed in Feb and it was approved and suppose to be mailed out Feb 28 and i still have not received it. i also had tax topic 203 for past child support which was deducted and sent to my ex wife already. i also have tax topic 201 but owe nothing to the IRS. I even called BFS and no record of anything owed.  I have not received any mail either explaining anything. Did anyone have this happen to?

The IRS will subtract the taxes you owe from your current year refund and then they will deposit any leftover amount to your account (if you selected direct deposit).  A few weeks later you will get a letter in the mail confirming how much they took and applied to your back taxes. Keep in mind, whenever there is an offset involved, there is always the potential for a delay.

Otherwise, you should continue to monitor your refund on the IRS Where’s My Federal Refund? site for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight. You may also download the IRS2Go app to check your Federal refund status.

yes i have been monitoring the app and it says it was mailed out already ( i requested a paper check) its been a month now i have still to receive any letters. The money I did owe for child support was already deposited to the person it was suppose to go. Also my state refund was approved and mailed out when i last checked the website and now when I go on it says they are still verifying information but a few weeks ago it said it was approved and mailed. I also called and i have no offset or money that I owe. should I worry
