Tax return

Hey so I filed my taxes and they got accepted on 1/21/25 and I opted in for an IP pin today 2/12/25 and it's saying I have to use it for 2025 and even prior years, but I didn't get the pin before I filed this year I just wanted to be able to use it for next year, will I have to amend my return to enter the IP pin?

No, you won't have to amend prior-year taxes just to add the IP PIN. You can use it if you need to E-file a prior year return that was filed or amend a return for missing information.
