Yes. Tax returns can be tricky, especially when dealing with deductions or credits related to electric vehicles. It is unusual however for the return to remind in limbo that long without a accepted or rejected status.
The IRS may have specific documentation requirements or forms related to electric vehicle credits, which could be the cause of the hold-up but this is only speculation at best.

The IRS officially opened this season on 1/26/2026, so you apparently efiled on opening day. Before that date, people who efiled early had their returns just sitting on TurboTax servers waiting for the IRS to open. A few returns were pulled early for testing purposes. This was also true at other tax preparation companies, etc., so there is always a big backlog of returns when the IRS first opens every year. The IRS cannot pull all of the backlogged returns at once. So during this first week of IRS operations it's possible to take longer than 48 hours to hear something back about whether the return was accepted or rejected. As long as you see it is "pending", then you know it was transmitted. You should have also gotten an email saying it was submitted. Hopefully, you will get an efile result before too long.
