Tax Return Accepted, now I’m process

I submitted my tax return the 21. It got accepted and received a date.

Now as of yesterday my tax return status is in process from accepted. No date. My wife is getting her return tomorrow. And mine is just completely gone.

I’ve made no changes or amendments. I haven’t received a rejection letter or notice. I don’t know how it got unaccepted .

Yes----after the IRS accepts your return it must be processed.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

To track your state refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

Is there a reason you and your wife filed separately?  It is usually more costly, taxwise.
