Student Loan Tax Amend

So i received an update 1098-E form from my Student Loan lender stating their system had an issue and i actually paid more into them then the original 1098-E they sent me. Should i amend my taxes for this?

Yes if it makes a difference to you ... use the amendment function to make the change then look at the 1040X ...

How to amend (change or correct) a return you already filed
