Why cant i track it on the irs.gov. it said my information is wrong when i entered my information

I have this same problem. Or when I do get in it says this:

”We cannot provide any information about your refund. You must wait at least 24 hours after you get the acknowledgement e-mail that your tax return was received by the IRS”

I did my return weeks ago 😤

I entered all the correct information. I know that it was accepted because y’all said it was accepted. I did it all properly. I’m just hoping it’s because their are so many people. But I did my taxes the 22nd and was accepted the 23rd of January. So I thought, like years before this, I’d be one of the first to get my return. Or at least be reassured that it is processing. This is my first time using TurboTax in years so I’m not sure if using this is making it take longer than normal.

This is normal. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update. Until the IRS starts processing it on their own, you may not find record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.
