How do I file for a previous tax year for a state and not the IRS? To obtain an IT540

Did you file your federal with TurboTax for the year you are wanting to file the state. If not, you will not be able to. I would suggest going to your State's Website and seeing if they have an online filing for state only returns.

How does one enter a prior year tax return? I lost my 2023, so when turbo taxing my 2024, it says i can enter the data manually for the prior year.
