State Amount changed after filing Federal

Does anyone know why I my state returned changed drastically ($200 swing) after I filed by Federal Return? I didn't add or change any information up to that point. Also, it changed my federal amount but I'm assuming I will be paying the amount I filed minutes before wrapping up my state return.
