Some returns can take longer than others due to different factors. According to the IRS website, there are sometimes delays in processing the returns they receive. Some of those reasons are listed here.

You can call the IRS, when it has been longer than 21 days from the date your return was accepted, at 1-800-829-1040. There is a high call volume. So there is a little wait. They will be able to tell you what stage of processing your return is in.
When calling the IRS do NOT choose Option 1.
Choose Option 2 after you choose the language.
Then Press 1
Then Press 4
Then Press 2, it will then transfer you to an agent.
Your refund is on hold. Wait for a letter in the mail
Same exact problem. The IRS is poorly managed. My return is as simple as can be. Only one property, standard deduction, absolutely nothing out of ordinary. Filed 1/30/21, accepted 2/11/21. 3/3/21 still waiting. No reason to take that long.
